I am a climate change public engagement expert and strategic communications specialist,  with a background in social and environmental psychology.  I am passionate about doing social good with effective, creative, and careful research methodologies. 

I currently work as a freelance Strategic Communications consultant, and also am Data Systems & Insights lead at Climate Barometer, which I co-founded with Adam Corner and Niall McLoughlin to provide a clear signal about public and political opinion on climate change in the UK.

I have a PhD in Psychology from the University of Western Australia, where I conducted research on psychological distance from climate change. 

With a decade of experience understanding people's values, identity, attitudes, and behaviour, my work has spanned topics such as climate change, energy, collective action, health, social inequality and justice. I work across academic, industry, policy, and non-profit sectors.
